Palm Beach Shores, Florida 2020

Travelling during the pandemic was certainly a different experience. The airport experience was always top notch. Security lines were short. Airline staff was very attentive and there were no crowds. One of the most interesting things about travelling early in the pandemic was the lack of restaurants in the airports. You were pretty much on your own and the ones that were open had very little stock and long lines. Nevertheless, we headed to Palm Beach Shores in June of 2020 and here’s some of the pics from that quick getaway. From the pics below, you can see a very empty Palm Beach International Airport. You can also see “pickled” or stored Embraer 175 regional jets from Republic Airways in the distance.

Here’s some pictures of Palm Beach Shores, the timeshare resort that we stayed at through RCI. Very clean, nice rooms, friendly staff, and talkative parrots at the pool.

We also drove up to Jupiter, Florida and ate at the dockside restaurants there. Across the way, is the Jupiter Lighthouse and Park.
